Here's the reason.

Paste the reel link into ReelsNote and tap the bookmark. It stays in your notebook with the places it mentions, your own note, and any fact-check we ran, and it syncs to every device you sign in from. Instagram's own saved folder gives you none of that.

We check the parts that can be checked: prices, opening hours, entry rules, booking requirements, transport facts, records and superlatives. Each claim is searched against public sources and gets a verdict with the sources listed. Opinions and personal experience are left alone, and an automated check can still be wrong, so confirm anything critical with the venue.

We read the caption, voiceover and on-screen text of the reel and pull out the places it names, then look each one up to get its exact coordinates. Named venues pin accurately. Vague mentions like 'a rooftop bar' cannot be pinned, and we say so rather than guessing.

You get a free credit when you sign up, and packs start at $1 for 25 credits. A credit is only used when we actually find places in a reel. Reels somebody else already processed cost nothing, and a fact-check that already exists is free to read.

Public Instagram reels and posts, including carousels. Private accounts and stories cannot be read by anyone but their followers, so those will not work.
